ILI is an official test centre for the TOEFL iBT. ILI is also one of a select group of Canadian schools chosen by the British Council and the Cambridge ESOL as an official test centre for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

Exam Preparation

If you are at an upper-intermediate or advanced level, you may choose an exam preparation course in place of the afternoon Skills course. The number and level of exam preparation courses are subject to enrollment.

IELTS Preparation

If you are a non-native speaker of English who intends to study or train in English, this comprehensive test of English language proficiency is designed to assess your ability. All candidates take the same Listening and Speaking Modules. There is an option of either Academic or General Training Reading and Writing Modules. Academic is suitable for candidates planning to undertake higher education study. General Training is suitable for candidates planning to undertake non-academic training or work experience, or for immigration purposes.

iBT TOEFL® Preparation

ILI's TOEFL® preparation course will help you to improve your scores for admission to a Canadian university. The course provides intensive preparation for all question types in each section of the test. By the end of the course you will be familiar with the TOEFL® format, have a sound knowledge of correct grammar, and have the ability to understand the vocabulary and meaning of formal written English.

TOEIC® Preparation

If you must demonstrate a high TOEIC® score before securing a job, ILI's TOEIC® preparation course will provide you with the practical skills you need to achieve great results.

Statistics provided by TOEIC® administrators show that the mean score of ILI students averages 130 points higher than the mean score of all other schools in Canada.
