Furnished apartments and executive suites are a good option for short-term students who are travelling to Halifax with a spouse or other family members. They are also ideal for mature students and business travelers who prefer private accommodation. 

Rental rates vary in relation to the location and size of the apartment. Most furnished apartments and executive suites include all necessary services (telephone, power, internet, heat, hot water, cable tv, etc.). A 'damage deposit' is usually required before the student arrives, in addition to the rent amount for the first month. Sometimes a minimum living period is required. A furnished one-bedroom apartment may range in price from $1200 to $2200 per month.

The accommodation placement fee will apply to your total fees if you want ILI to locate and arrange an apartment for you. Please note that your rent and damage deposit may be required more than one-month before you arrive to Halifax.

ILI can not guarantee the availability of appropriate private accommodations. Therefore, make sure to arrange your request for private accommodation as early as possible to increase your chances of locating an ideal location for the best price.
