University student residences are available in the summer months only. ILI is within close proximity to two university partners who offer residence accommodations during the summer. Mount Saint Vincent University is a 5-minute bus ride from ILI, and Saint Mary's University is 25 minutes away by bus.

University residences are an alternative option for summer group-programs if the organizer of the group trip wishes to have group members live together on the ssame floor/house with a chaperon in charge of the group. 

For the best English study experience in Halifax, the ILI Host Family program provides daily exposure to English language and culture through interactions with a Canadian host family. The host family program is also a more affordable option than university residences.
